It emerged as the biggest wealth creator during 2014-2019 after a gap of seven years. The Rs 5.6 lakh crore wealth created by Reliance is the highest ever so far by a huge margin, the study said. It has risen 252 percent in the last 5 years and 39 percent in the last 1 year.
*HDFC Bank:*
The lender added 4 lakh crore wealth during 2014-2019, which is equal to 8.3 percent of the total wealth created by the top 100 stocks. It has risen 174 percent in the last 5 years and 22 percent in the last 1 year.
*TCS:*
The stock has created Rs 3.6 lakh crore wealth between 2014-2019. Its current market capitalisation is at 8.2 lakh crore. The scrip has gained 74 percent in the last 5 years and 11 percent in the last 1 year.
*Hindustan Unilever:*
The FMCG company has created Rs 2.4 lakh crore wealth in the last 5 years, amounting to 4.9 percent of the total wealth created by the top 100 creators. HUL has risen 160 percent in the last 5 years and 6 percent in the last 1 year.
*HDFC:*
The NBFC company has created Rs 1.8 lakh crore wealth between 2014-2019. The Rs 1.8 lakh crore amounts to 3.7 percent of the total wealth created by the top 100 companies during this period. The stock has added 117 percent in the last 5 years and 22 percent in the last 1 year.
*Kotak Bank:*
The private sector lender has added Rs 1.79 lakh crore wealth between 2014-2019. The stock has rallied 179 percent in the last 5 years and 40 percent in the last 1 year.
*Bajaj Finance:*
The NBFC stock has added Rs 1.59 lakh crore wealth in the last 5 years. It is the only stock that is present in the top 10 list of both – the biggest and the fastest wealth creators. The scrip rose 1,145 percent in the last 5 years and 59 percent in the last 1 year.
*Infosys:*
The IT company added Rs 1.49 lakh crore wealth in the last 5 years. Since 2014, the scrip has advanced 45 percent and has gained 10 percent in the last 1 year.
*Maruti uzuki:*
The auto company was one of the biggest wealth creators in the last 5 years despite auto slowdown and production cuts. It had created Rs 1.4 lakh crore between 2014-2019. The stock rose 116 percent since 2014 but lost 8 percent in the last 1 year.
*Axis Bank:*
The private sector lender created Rs 1.2 lakh crore wealth in the last 5 years. The stock rose 52 percent in the last 5 years and 16 percent in the last 1 year. The current market cap of the company is over Rs 2.1 lakh crore.
